(ST. LOUIS, May 5, 2017) On March 24, 2017, Waterway learned that its credit and debit card processing vendor, DRB Systems, LLC, may have experienced a data security incident involving a limited number of Waterway locations. DRB Systems has assured Waterway that the systems have been secured, and credit and debit cards can be safely used at the potentially impacted locations. All credit and debit card companies were alerted to enable them to safeguard customer accounts.
Waterway’s non-ride-through facilities, in-store registers, and gas pumps were not affected by this event. DRB Systems hired an independent forensic investigator to assist with its investigation and has informed us that customer names, credit and debit card numbers, and card security codes only at Waterway’s ride-through car washes may have been at risk.
Less than 0.5 percent of 1 percent of annual transactions at Waterway may have been affected only at the following locations and only during the following periods:

While Waterway believes that no information was compromised that will create a risk of identity theft, customers who used the ride-through car washes during the dates identified above can enroll in credit monitoring services at no cost. Customers are encouraged to take advantage of these preventive services by visiting http://activate.kroll.com and following the instructions provided. Waterway customers have until July 28, 2017 to receive credit monitoring services for free, so please take advantage before this date.
